Philosophy of the Oblate Sisters of the Most Holy Redeemer

The Oblate Sisters of the Most Holy Redeemer’s philosophy is to offer the girls/women and their families a life based on these gospel values:

  • that they are entitled to a life of dignity because they are children of God created in His image and likeness;
  • that they have been endowed with dignity, with potentials for growth and with ability to adopt a satisfactory lifestyle if properly guided;
  • that they have rights which they must defend even as they recognize and respect the rights of others;
  • that as human beings and responsible members of human community, they have the responsibility to develop and use their God-given talents to gain self-reliance and of service to others; and
  • that they must show loving compassion for others especially to those who are poor and oppressed as themselves.
